This course is designed to teach students awareness, avoiding dangerous encounters and the use of safety products to maximize your personal safety. We will cover basic empty hand protection maneuvers, dorm/apartment safety, electronic safety and use of pepper gel as a defensive weapon. This course is based on many of the same training principles taught to law enforcement officers and police academy recruits. This program is a collaboration between certified law enforcement and personal safety experts. The objective of this course is to develop a safety mentality to increase chances of escaping to safety should you face an attack.
